Playing like crap to an inferior team. Hard to take RU seriously this season. So much they need to improve.

I wonder what martinis +/- was. Teams seem to after him when he’s in the floor and score at will in the paint.
I love Pike more than anyone, but this team cannot run a Play to get an open shooter. Hayes and Martini are shooters and they’re not getting any shots. That’s a problem.
Pike is looking more and more like Schiano. Great program builder, awful game coach.
I can’t even figure out what Martini’s role might have been at Princeton. The guy is a poor defender and rebounder and an average shooter at best.
JMike has been very valuable on defense the last 2 games - and he’s been just what we needed. Martini hasn’t given us much.

Exactly. Some low-IQ hoops fans only look at the boxscore and not the actual game. JMike's D the last two games was superb and a key factor in the wins. Sure, I wish he was better on offense, but he is who he is and at least he's not chucking up dumb shots any more.
Yes, Davis missed those 2 FT - but he did play really, really good defense all game, but especially in the 2nd half when RU used defensive intensity to fuel their comeback.

False he only played 19 min half of which on Baldwin. That was team defense and we were switching on all screens. Both games we started slow and had to dig out because he is ZERO on the offensive end and gets punished inside. Cut him so Pike cannot commit coaching malpractice by playing him
Ridiculous post. Who would you have on the floor to play really good D other than him right now? People can debate whether we should have better talent surrounding our stars, but with what we have now, JMike adds value when he plays great D and doesn't chuck up a bunch of bad shot (as per the past 2 games).
Gave up 3 turnovers early in the game. Missed a breakaway layup and his foul shots.

False his D which is not good. Showing energy and hustle does not mean he’s playing good D! So a small Avg defender who doesn’t get steals or boards and can’t score. Allows other teams to double and triple Ace and Dylan is a huge liability

I was sitting right there and JMike was is and always will be a liability. 3 quarter court “pressure” which it was soft by JMike did nothing. The difference in the D had nothing to JMike waving his tiny arms.
It was the D off the ball and fighting over screens and playing more physical.
Rewatch the game and pay attention to the action off the ball that’s where the game is really being won and lost.

I'm not sure why Acuff is in the same doghouse as Martini. Unless it's a health issue, he should get at least some kind of playing time.
I think RU fans want Davis to be Caleb McConnell but he’s not; and no way in hell he becomes a Jacob Young.
Too small, can’t get points, doesn’t get assts or rebounds, doesn’t get steals, and turns ball over.
He should be playing down a level.
