He still has rices recruits. Next year is the only year none of rices recruits will be on the floor.

Who? Greg Lewis? One player out of the entire roster of scholarship players? Not sure what the point is. Rice's best leftover recruits (Mack and Jack) were Eddies best players the last two seasons which were Eddies two best seasons as Rutgers coach. Unless you are saying that Greg Lewis is the main reason we are so bad this year, which I know you're not.

Eddie will not get miraculously better as a coach just because Lewis is finally off the roster. That was the previous argument, wasn't it? He'll have a lot of other players back and hopefully less injuries. Better record next year will be due to this reason not because Rice's recruits are gone.
