Wow, Sanders has great games and so-so games, but tonight he was beyond phenomenal.

So many contributors tonight, but damn Corey was just plain MONEY. Archie is gonna see Corey crossing over and then hitting that patented 18 foot step back jumper in his nightmares.
Sanders had Pike's 27 at MSG in the BE Tourney as his target - and knocked it down.
I'm embarrassed to say that I turned it off in the 1st half. I was having a bad night with some personal and work issues and couldn't take anymore frustration. What a nice surprise to get that alert on my phone!!!
We needed someone besides Sanders to chip in and we got it. Corey did his thing but having Geo hit shots, D get involved, EO involved, Issa on defense, Mike hustling etc

This season is officially not sucking any more.
I was at a work event all night. Couldn’t watch or attend the game. In Uber home now and just read this entire 15 page thread. What a friggen rollercoaster. Some real bi-polar fans and I love it. Awesome win. Can’t wait to watch the dvr. (After like the 8 min mark of first half)

I have a routine of turning it off if we are getting clobbered early...... I think I shut it down when we went down 14 tonight , not our biggest deficit, but bad enough........I then take a peek at the game maybe 10 minutes later and we had knocked it down to nine or so....... so my superstition held up, as it has before occasionally
I wish we could figure out a way of getting started earlier in the game.
Wouldn’t have won without both of them. Freeman kept us alive when it looked like a 30 point loss
I would like to apologize for saying this team had no balls down 24-8....the turnaround was simply spectacular and they showed more brass balls than I could ever have. Truly one of the scintillating Rutgers wins I have ever attended in person
RESPECT for admitting that. You will want to see that game.. but the highlights alone will make you smile. Check out the repeating BTN "The BIG Show" .. it will be on every half hour in the AM. ANd 1:30AM and 4AM will be showing some of the games from today.. maybe RU-IU.. hard to tell which is on when.
And well deserved (Corey's dunk #3 on the SC Top 10!).. he has had a few now that could be top ten for the season.
I know I should say bad things about some plays I saw today.. but damn.. some of Sanders moves are literally (using that correctly) UNSTOPPABLE. You have to be a mind-reader to defend some of his shots... or the 3rd man in trying to "double" him... a defender he has no idea is coming.

What’s the Rutgers record for biggest comeback? This was looking like a carbon copy of last year with the minor opening round upset and getting blitzed by the far superior team.
This mini tourney run Rutgers is on cancels out a lot of the negative moments from this year and more important gives Rutgers fantastic recruiting ammo to close out these next couple classes especially when they are no other major tourneys going on. Rutgers really taking advantage of the moment.

Yes a lot of the people who inhabit this forum are straight up trash. And then the same ones would be patting them on the back and talking about great job after a win like this if they could.

I'll say this, this team has been insanely frustrating to watch because we know what they're capable of when they're playing like they're capable of.

no i was at MSG and was watching awful basketball....and yes I should not be posting in my frustrations that nasty, so sorry for that. But the game thread has always reflected how the team was playing at a certain time, we go through this with football too. It was an incredible and unlikely turnover, we played as bad as I have seen the team in the first 10-13 minutes down 17-3 and 24-8 so sorry if I am in the moment frustrated posted like that. The team deserves incredible amounts of praise for turning it around and playing their best game of the season after playing their worst stretch
