Is gameday parking really $30?

Went to game could not believe it. Thought it was like 10 dollars a few years ago.

I have season tix and park in APC so god knows how much I'm really paying but $30 game day parking for a college basketball game is one of the most insane things I've ever heard. That is freaking crazy. This is not one of 8 NFL homes games or the Yankees in NYC or something. Jesus Christ.

They need to fix the Suttons lane entrance, tonight was Trenton all over again. It was great last year. I guess it's down to fewer attendants? Will have to try something else Sunday I guess.

I went to a Virginia Tech game last year...packed house. $0 for parking. We're getting futbukked....or maybe just the RU Screw.

Parking was a disaster today. So we are paying more for less attendants and less parking ingress points open. That was completely ridiculous . Who is in charge of game day parking because it was a disgrace
Worst I’ve ever seen it. Ridiculous set-up.

Bigger problem is the need to get the f'n cop out of his car to actually run the traffic light to control the flow of traffic better.

I was shocked at the 30 bucks a game figure as well. They needed to promote that increase so the loyal season ticket holder could buy parking passes instead of going game by game in the past.

I have a yellow lot pass and use the back way in, for the record. I'm just pissed for the other fans.

They had a guy on Suttons at Hospital Road not letting people in if there was any kind of line on Hospital. So we had to go down and make the right on Rockefeller instead and merge with the people coming the other way on Suttons.

Stop doing that and things would have been much better.

I don't get it though, last year was great in terms of parking efficiency. Why would they change anything?

For reference I was at the South Randolphville/Metlars light by 6:15 and missed the first 3 minutes of the game.

$30 a game is very steep….especially for the non conference games. This is the same price as some of the colored football lots on Busch….where you actually get to tailgate and enjoy the spot.

These are the games for the casual fan or the families - shame on Rutgers for charging $30 for games against the likes of Boston U, Howard etc.

This is what happens at small arenas where parking is a easy way to generate additional income.

They should charge $50 and play the game in the parking lot so we can watch from our cars. Easy fix.

LOL…the numbnuts working the parking get paid $25 per hour? 🤦🏻‍♂️
This is what I was about to say. It appears that they get zero training. There are some basic standard positions and movements to direct traffic. These guys seem to be waving their arms around randomly. And some of those in the parking lot last night didn’t even have a flashlight. it was easy for me to get it in because I have green parking and I got there early. But getting out, when I had to go out the back way with the yellow traffic to drop someone off, it was ridiculous. I worked in the parking lot sometimes in the late 70s and they made sure that we knew the standard police signs for directing traffic and that we all did it the same.

Prudie is a pro arena with ameneties
This guy does most of his BS recaps from in front of a television set. Def not a season ticket holder and his complaining yet again about something proves it. If you spent more time working and not on social media maybe you can afford season tickets.

Raising price 50% in one year

Yes $30 is way too much for a college game especially with this non conference schedule
You can always just stay home--nothings cheap these days but some fans just can't accept the fact the school needs $. Bitch and moan about everything when the real answer/help is to give like other top schools fans give.
