It is Time for at least 3 of our guys to put together a full game.

So far , we have not played our best basketball yet. Our defense and rebounding have been elite most of the year but we have lacked consistency from our core players who are playing at least 20 minutes a night . On most nights one of our guys have stepped up or sometimes 2 guys, but it is time for 3 guys to put together 17 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists or 4 block nights. Ron and Myles should be doing it and either Jacob, Akwasi , Caleb or Montez have to find that consistency. We have had 4 double digit scorers but no one has had an awesome night that you came away saying his best game. It IS TIME! Perfect opportunity on this 2 game homestand to have it happen against Indiana and Minnesota, followed by Iowa on the road and then Nebraska and Purdue in another homestand. Purdue is the only one of the bunch that plays good defense so our offensive game and offensive efficiency in these next 5 needs to go up 2 notches. They are all capable and 4 of the next 5 at home should get their confidence way up . We can be at the top of the standings at the end of this stretch if 3 of our 8 just do it. I do not think I am asking too much either. I have been expecting it to happen and through 16 games , we have not reached our full potential on offense but the timing for it to happen is now.
