Actually this team is worse. Probably the worst team since 2004. I'm going with 3 wins. Thanks Kyle. Ash needs 4 years to rebuild this program. I hope he can keep up recruting and coach up these kids and let the talent recruits start playing young because Floods 1 stars are really really bad.
We are absolutely hosed again next year when Grant is gone and another year of Lavinova. Ash absolutely needs to hold the '17 class together and show some glimmer of hope for the '18 recruits. Then maybe in '19 we can field a competitive team again.
As much as I blame talent...I'm blaming some of this on the coaches as well...where is the competitiveness...where are the playcalls that adjust to our personnel, where's the pressure?

WHAT PERSONNEL!! they are adjusting to grant - that is our whole personnel!! what other adjustments do you expect??

Also staff needs to pay attention to game clock, Howard ran the ball out and refs let the clock run...then a timeout wasn't called on that third down towards the end of the half..we wouldve had at least 20 more seconds to run a play or two to give our kicker more room or score a TD
Uhm, how about LB, where we're starting 3 kids with zero experience playing the position at this level?
Bottom line - as some of us have been trying to tell you guys this - the lack of quality depth, and athleticism, is a major, major issue out there. back-to-back-to-back-to-back lousy-to-awful recruiting classes will do this to a program.
