He is a clown that is so far over his head it is clear that he doesn't even believe his false bravado anymore. That team was broken mentally and physically. So too was their head coach.
Just piling on here, but that is a terrible play of epic proportion. The left tackle may as well not even be there.
Some guy from ESPN named Brett McMurohy just said the good news for Penn St is their schedule. That they should win their next 5 games now.
Temple may be the best team PSU plays until OSU and Temple should be a serious contender for the AAC title. PSU talent was way overrated, like last year, based on tradition, I guess. Wish we had them at home - they will be tough to beat in Happy Valley. Franklin is definitely a tool, though.

Prior to yesterday, I imagine McMurphy expected Penn State to win that game too. After yesterday, I don't think PSU can chalk any game down in the win column - will have to prove it on the field.

Temple is very good, and I hope they get recognized for it this season. It's amazing how much experience this team has.
edit: I just read up-thread that they play Cincinnati next week. Good point -- that game will tell a lot about several teams.

was at a party last night with a bunch of WVU and PSU alum, had a blast!!! PSU alums were trying to blame it on the lack of scholarships still
Well, in all fairness, they only have 85 scholarships this year. Once you figure in the redshirts, they're down to about 77.
That's bullcr*p, home away, they have the same players, and we will have the same players! Not one of their fans will be on the field during the game, so it doesn't matter. This whole homefield advantage only comes into play when a team has to travel like we did last year to WS, and them traveling to NJ. Players generally block out crowds anyway.
RU should dominate this team. Last year we didn't blitz or put on the pressure that we could have, at least not as much as we should have. And, many times just missed the tackle. Is the Hack., going down easier this year, or is it my imagination?
And Franklin, enjoy him while we can. I can't imagine a worst game day coach than this fool! Good recruiter, no knowledge of game day strategy or adjustments. Remind you of anyone?
