Jersey Shore Runaplooza - anyone attend

just finished up the marathon relay this morning , ran leg 2 (~6.2 miles), many comments on the Rutgers visor! Anyone else run?

Prepping for the Asbury half marathon on May 1st.

Nice job. I live in Monmouth beach and volunteered today as course Marshall. North wind was a little tuff. Finally decided to run the Rutgers half .... Tomorrow. I think may 1 is the nj half. I will be blasting Springsteen as u come by. Good job telling the block r. I saw a few today

Thanks for volunteering ! Great event , first time and definitely not the last. The wind was pretty brutal coming up from Brick to Pt.

How does the relay marathon work? Like how do you get to and from the leg you are running, and back to the finish? Thanks.

We actually had three teams organized from work , then had two friends come along as team drivers that would shuttle runners back to get cars as needed. Then as we would get our cars, we also helped bring runners back.

So I parked at transition point 1 , ran leg 2. While I was running , she dropped off first runner back at start and then went to leg 3 to drop off runner and then pick me up when I arrived to take me back to my car.
