They were so pro-Kentucky it was offensive. Rex Chapman made no effort to hide it, at one point even saying "we're for Kentucky." It was like listening to a passionate fan of Kentucky, which he is clearly, calling the game. Even the direction was biased. They showed dozens of shots of Caliper and virtually none of Wisconsin's coach. I didn't realize until the game was over that the game was also being shown on TBS w/ different announcers. Would have saved me lots of frustration.

It was the team stream for Kentucky. Similar broadcast on trutv for Wisconsin. Tbs had the unbiased announcers

I thought this thread was going to be about the non-call when the Kentucky player hit the Wisconsin player in the face....and there wasn't even a foul called, much less a flagrant.

I thought having three broadcasts was a pretty good idea. Give the fans what they want and people who just want to watch a game what they want.

Funny how there are multiple posts bitching about the announcers because people didn't know what was going on. Not sure if I should blame it on stupidity or bad marketing.

Also funny how when you watch it at work with no sound it really makes no difference. :)

Clueless clowns in the twitterverse were complaining about "biased" announcers from games on TNT and truTV...as none of them realized that the national broadcast was on TBS...and TNT and truTV were set up from "homer" announcing crews for each team.

ESPN has done this in the past with major college football games/championships too...

Can't fix stupid...as I knew the national broadcast was on TBS and had no interest in listening to a favored broadcast on the other channels.

I've heard this 100 times now, and you all weren't paying attention....

TBS was the neutral telecast with neutral announcers.....

TNT was pro Kentucky Homers

Tru TV was pro Wisconsin Homers

They did that on purpose. The game was on 3 channels.

Really enjoyed this coverage especially for the ability to jump between the Whisky and UK stations to catch each team's view of the game.
