Sounds like Rutgers reached out to Bryan Penn-Johnson last year during his time at East Los Angeles. Former Washington and LSU transfer that is now playing at Cal-Poly.

Don't know how far talks got (or what issues there were), but he is a California kid who mentions in one of the last episodes "I talked to Rutgers and Drexel last night" during ELA's playoff run last season.

Seems that way, i'm assuming that's why talks didn't get to far with him.

There was another kid that played like Phil Sellers and we got involved. He eventually signed with one of the large Texas schools and I stopped following him. Kid was a forward. The bag man cometh!
