RU was slated to face Nova on the road in Round 1. Of course that will change due to this week's outcomes (Nova getting boat raced by Denver, and Albany losing to UMBC, Penn lost to Brown as well). My guess is RU moves up to #7 in the polls, maybe #6, and Maryland moves up to #1. Not only can RU get into the tourney, but would likely be playing a home game at RU Stadium if they finish at around that ranking.

We played the RPI game great this year. If we win, we’re in. I haven’t done a deep dive into some of the other conferences, but our the B1G’s record verse the ACC shows that the B1G is better. ND’s loss to Umich is going to hurt them a lot

The B1G is definitely the new Top Dog in lacrosse. Maryland, Hopkins, Rutgers and PSU are all legit Top tier teams capable of going deep into the Dance. Michigan is building up and OSU will be back as well. Wonder if any other B1G schools will join in on the fun? I'm looking at you, Sparty and Wisconsin.

Any particular reason you listed MSU and UW? My guess based on no info whatsoever would be Northwestern, UW, and maybe one of Illinois/Indiana.
Sparty used to have lax. They could easily start up again. NW makes sense but they already have women's lax so maybe Title IX is keeping them from doing it. Wisconsin makes sense since they don't have baseball, so why not lax for a spring sport?

Gotcha, wasn't aware that MSU cut their men's lax program.

Lacrosse is a growing very fast. There are a lot of quality teams this year. There are more and more guys in high school playing. It will have to grow at the college level sooner or later. Just look at the Big East this year. Nova has stepped up and it could become a two bid league again

I'm thinking within 5 to 10 years a bunch of the Pac 12 schools will start lax like Colorado, Arizona State, USC, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, and Denver joins them as an affiliate member. Don't forget Utah is starting D1 next year.

Michigan State and Minnesota have pretty decent MCLA teams. I'd love to see both schools promote their programs to D1.

I think Rutgers would be in great shape in that bracket!

One team that I fear in the NCAAs is Denver, for some reason that I haven't quite identified. Maybe I'm afraid of that grumpy coach...
That, and the fact that Trevor Baptiste is one of the best FO men I've ever seen. And I also would like RU's chances in that bracket...Nova doesn't scare me and an RU/YU Elite 8 game would be a fun one.
