Don't think its right to imply that a kid has character issues if he is actually an upstanding young man. We always make fun of the Penn State Fans when they claim they pulled an offer or never offered a kid, we would be hypocrites if we did the same, and it's wrong to not correct an assertion that a 17 year old did something wrong on an official visit or has character concerns when he does not, think if it was your son.
Pardon me formerly but i've been an RU fan since ''63'' and i get too much undeserved crap on their ''UConn,Cuse,'' sites...as an RU fan your opinion is as good as anyones if its sincere....but why wait this long to desert us if you ''Mack'' have any kind of character...and to go to a so called ''lesser FB school'' to fuel our real detractors ready made jealous opinions making us look like schmucks in the name of ''honesty''......better to say nothing..if he was upstanding we would not be here now..

or maybe instead of blaming a 17 year old kid for following his heart, and going to the college he thinks is the best fit 4 him, he only gets one shot, u should blame our coaches who could not convince him this was the best place to spend the next 4-5 years.

So when Bah decommitted the spin was it didn't matter because we really wanted Mack. Amazing the contortions recruiting requires for some.

You are so full of crap it is not funny! You make crap up to fit your agenda. Now with every player that decommits it is a character issue.

Maybe it's Ash can't recruit, has no persona, has not NJ ties, has no RU ties. Hired a staff full of NO NJ ties. The only kids we are getting have no D1 offers.

Year there is a behavioral issue and it is with Ash, his staff and people like you that can't see the disaster that Ash had created in 2 months.
more nap time?

This is bizarre. There are like 2 or 3 BCS programs that we can definitely "look down" on....Indiana and Colorado, for sure, maybe Wake and Vandy although they have great academics to recruit with. I just don't get it.
Look, just have to say RU beat IU the last two years, and I can give many reasons why, but RU beat IU. But to say you can definitely "look down" on....Indiana...is going to prove laughable.

It is a shame to lose what we might imagine that Isaiah Wright and Taysir Mack could possibly be .
But - nobody is a sure thing - nobody is so astoundingly superb that their performance is guaranteed - their value was going to be found in the way that they worked and achieved in the new system that Ash & Co are installing - and if they were willing to work with the previous system - but now chose not to want to be apart of the new ... It begins to be clear like they were not going to live up to what we might imagine that they could be.

Well said!

Wow, Ahmed's recruitment was unusual.....he must really be close to his position coach, because Ash only interacted with the coach, apparently.

Edit: the WR coach is RU alum (transferred to Bethune-Cookman) KJ Stroud.....interesting how his comments from last August point out that Bah is more physical and ready for major college football.

Bah was the consolation prize after losing Mack..

I followed Stroud and B-C after he left Rutgers with Jenkins. He proved to be a very good player and he never gave up. I respect what he has to say about both.
BlockR, "Consolation prize?" It all dependent on how you polish it when you get it.
That means like Stroud says,"Bah, meanwhile, has a frame that's even better suited for play at the Division-I level." "Out of the two he has the college-ready type body," Stroud said. "He has deceptive speed. He's strong, very physical, loves contact, and he just works man. I think for him to compete at Rutgers he would just have to continue his physical play."

Polish= a great coach can make him shine. and we will see over the next ~4 years who is better receiver and who is better coached.
