Pennsylvania RTC adding Hall to a very solid room (plus Brandon Slay is head coach):

"Mark will train with current PRTC athletes Mauro Correnti, Ben Honis, Ethan Lizak, David McFadden, Joey McKenna, Richard Perry, Dan Vallimont as well as wrestlers from the rapidly rising programs at Penn and Drexel."

UPenn is recruiting better and now loading up its RTC. They want to compete with and beat Princeton and us.

Here are NJRTC athletes for comparison:

Reese Humphry (head coach)

SKWC Residents
Anthony Ashnault
Tyler Graff
Ethan Ramos
Pat Downey

Princeton RTC Residents
Bryce Meredith
Nate Jackson
CJ Brucki
Boris Novachkov

He might have gotten a better financial deal. The RTC pays these guys to work out with their wrestlers and train for Olympics

Wisconsin adds Johnny Sebastian to it's RTC and Seth Gross to it's staff as Asst. Coach

Willing to bet that was part of his transfer deal. Good for him.

Bono owes Gross, lol. If Gross didn't transfer to SD St after getting kicked off the Iowa team for car break ins, and win a National Championship for Bono there, Bono probably not the Head Coach at Wisconsin.
PS- the previous coach at Wisconsin was Barry Davis. Sat near the Wisconsin bench when RU wrestled Wisconsin around 2015, and man, was Davis nuts, lol. Between arguing like crazy with refs, he would engage with the fans nearby and joke like crazy. Davis was also a 3x NCAA champ for Iowa as well as an Olympic Silver Medalist. Davis was also Donny Pritzlaff's coach at Wisconsin.

Not sure if this is premium content or not but if able to watch this is a great Barry Davis story.

Shorter video just the story I was looking for (still long and I believe premium content).

Thanks, I'm still a Flo subscriber.
PS- it was nice meeting you at the Big10 Tourney. I think that was the last live day of wrestling I saw this season, forgot whether we talked on Saturday or Sunday.

Mark Hall is also joining UPenn staff as a volunteer assistant.

We should schedule UPenn, beat them up while the getting's good. Because before long, they just might overtake us. They've definitely got some deep pockets and finally their sh*t together down there. They still draw like 50 fans but they're getting it together.

Teams like Penn and Princeton average 100 fans a match are passing us who average 5K fans a match. It really irritates me.

Hard for a public school to attract kids who have had perochial beaten into their heads for 15 years

We should schedule them. They definitely have strong financial backing now and are trying to jump levels.
