Maryland Getting Destroyed at Home

So you comparing UCLA and Seton Hall?????
Hop online and check the stats from the game. Maryland is shooting like a piece of s*** and missed a ton of wide open shots. I don't care who's on the other side that's my point what happens. I understand the comparison between UCLA and Seaton hall but Maryland just scored 20 that's my point.

That half somehow felt even more one sided than the score suggests. UCLA is all over them.

UMD lots of turnovers. Mentally not in the game.

UCLA BB will dominate the B1G. Overall, better/quicker athletes who can shoot..

As I said earlier season Maryland is going to live or die by the three. Died quickly tonight.

Top 20 team down 49-20 at the half to UCLA. MD on pace to finish with 40. Just saying. It happens.

Maryland got off to a great start this season, but they don’t have much talent. UCLA meanwhile is hard to figure out. They lost by 9 to Illinois earlier in this season, who Maryland beat in their home Big 10 opener a couple of weeks ago. Welcome to college basketball.

No Seton Hall play much better D. UCLA plus much better Offense. We weren’t down 29 at the half either. So the OP is making a valid point about having bad nights. Pretty simple stuff to me.

Ah, the dreaded transitive property. It constantly seduces us into thinking we know what's going to happen based on past matchups. It never ceases to kick our ass.

It was literally exactly as expected last year. Zero top 2 seeds and thus zero teams in the Elite Eight or beyond?
Overrated, slow, unathletic, etc etc. Remember that time Ohio State lost to a 15 seed? The fact that the big ten performs well in early season OOC games doesn’t matter, the tiny sample of games in March is fundamentally different because of reasons.

MD is highly overrated. Will end up a .500 team in conference IMO
I think Maryland fans would take .500 in conference this year. They don't have any front court depth. If they have below average, or worse, shooting nights they are screwed.

Turgeon didn't leave much talent for Willard.

His 2023 class is impressive and they aren't done.

With Under Armour support, shouldn’t Maryland be killing it from an NIL standpoint?
UA practically funded Maryland's IPF, complete with a tunnel from the IPF to the football stadium & an athletes performance center.

Have you seen how Under Armour's stock is doing now compared to five or six years ago?

I am no expert on the subject, but I doubt Rutgers Athletics has a benefactor of the scope of and commitment of Under Armour..
