PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Rutgers gymnastics will start a new era under head coach Umme Salim-Beasley south of the border with a trip to Cancun, Mexico, to take part in the Cancun Classic. The quad meet, which starts at 7 p.m. ET, will take place in the Grand Coral Ballroom and also involve Iowa State, Michigan and West Virginia.

Just checked ... had one bad meet last year (184.5) ... hit a few 194s ... I don’t mind the finishing last, but team is either bad or laid an egg

- Michigan is #13 in the nation
- Iowa State #23 in the nation
- WVU, IIRC, is always pretty strong
- I think - THINK - we graduated our top girl or 2 girls from last year?

bunch of girls fell on beam
freshman had highest scores on bars ands beam
solid on vault

Referring to the team score not the place ...thought RU was constantly over 192

The team is just bad on bars this year. No excuse for those scores. Staff needs to step it up and increase start values or this will be a step backward for Ru Gymnastics.
