I agree with this as we lost 3 of our top 4 ssdm from last year but I also contend that while losing Rexrode was huge losing Bronzo was also very important as he quietly just made plays. I also think that they expected more from the defenders in the sophomore class as well as the Freshman class. I think that they believed that one of the freshman would step up and play and they have not.

D was always a concern, honestly. So many new faces.

We have a great D coach, but it was going to take time to gel. Combine that with new faces in different roles and it has been slow going.

Hopkins was questionable but OSU was great. They have it in them.

solution for some is always to fire the coach--shallow

Literally not a single post in this entire thread suggested firing the coach.
