Men's Lacrosse #11

Going to ask again:

Our FO guy, we have heard, "will be back next week" for the last few weeks. What's the deal? MRS at this point?

He has been playing. JoJo Francisco. Both he and Shoen ARE our faceoff guys. Both bring different skills. We saw Shoen take most of the draws against Syracuse because he was the better match-up. When neither are doing well, we go to Pless with the long pole. It's a good option. That kid has very quick hands. His over the head old school check at midfield last week was a thing of beauty. I haven't seen one of those in years.

I feel like the FOGO game has changed so much in recent years. I have gone from trying to develop a good all around FOGO I have multiple guys who are good at different things and we play them based off of what we see happening, who the other team plays etc. Maybe it was always like that and I just didnt notice as a player and needed to upgrade my coaching game.

It's definitely become much more specialized. Players back in the day used to play the field in a number of cases. You don't see that anymore. I can't shed a lot of light on techniques and such. It's the area of the game I really don't know anything about.
