Mens Lax gets a shot clock

Headed to NJ on Sunday to drop off my son and get him situated in his new home...very excited for him to resume his college career at Rutgers...any food suggestions let me know...I like a good meal :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Lots of choices it just depends on what you want. If you are staying in New Brunswick Old Man Rafferty’s is good and a walk from most hotels. Stuff your face is on College Ave and is also pretty good. If you do not kid driving a little ways there are some really good Italian places about 15 to 20 minutes away. Eapo’s is one of my favorites in Raritan. Small place no reservations really good

If it is pizza you want I can give you three good different options
1- traditional pizza my bet would be Alfonso’s in Somerville. Also has really good Italian food.
2- Thin crust is Chimney Rock Inn in Bridgewater. Really good thin crust and good burgers as well.
3- italian style Bri k oven pizza would be Lombardi’s Pizza company in Martinsville. Small traditional Italian style pizza’s ( my favorite) owner goes to Naples every other year to get new ideas. None are in NB but all are easily drivable. If you come back later in the fall we can hook up and get you some good food.

Thanks. I'll take you up on that...I'll be out at least once in the fall...probably twice. Scrimmage weekend I'll be there for sure

I could eat pizza every day

When I am back in NJ, I have it at least 2x a day. Once as a meal and a slice thrown in just because. Living in LA, I can't even eat it here. NJ/NY pizza is just a different level. Certain foods, like Italian/pizza, in NJ, are simply otherworldly. I get enough fine dining here. When I am there I'm down for diners and pizza. Bagels for breakkie...just can't get them anywhere else like that in the world that I have had.

There is a steakhouse in New Brunswick, and though it represents itself as high end, I'd say it isn't. It's average.

His video definitely checks out. Very much in the mold of guys that have been brought in. Can handle, picks up gb's, and can get out in transition. Practices are going to be fun to watch.
Friend of mine knows him well and raves about him. We can no longer call him a steal, as we are among the best, but we got a good one.
