MIDLANDS

Me 2! I thought jack would have his hands full with him and next thing u know Ash is in wb. Oh well gotta take 3rd. If Kolodzik makes finals it's not so bad.

Bill, what are you doing today? Usually you are either there or following online like us.
What up?

Jon Schleifer Princeton pins Stinson of Rider at 174. Scheifer was terrific at the NJ states 2 years ago. Was he Mendham or E Brunswick ? can't remember. 2 seed here.

Some hype on Vince Turk from Iowa board and Ash just dismantled him wit TF. ASH is WINNING MIDLANDS and NCAA this year! I called it!
Oh so typical. When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn.Well. you're 0-1 just like that.

HH wins 4-1,

Smith gets back points in 2nd leading 6-2 starting 3rd and Smith starts down

The next round for the Championship Bracket includes the following match ups (tournament seed):

133: #7 Giraldo vs. #2 Earl Hall (Iowa State)
149: #8 Theobald vs. #1 Brad Sorenson (Iowa)
165: #1 Perrotti vs. #9 Adam Fierro (CSU Bakersfield)
174: #9 Backuckas vs. #1 Alex Meyer (Iowa)
197: #10 Hrymack vs. #NR J. DaSilveira (Ariz. St.)
285: #5 Smith vs. #4 Sam Stoll (Iowa)

Anyone who loses will need 1 win in the consos to place top 8. So if Giraldo, Theo, Backuckas and Hrymack, win 1 out of their next 2, its all gravy. Perrotti should win, and I am really hoping Smith can get a win against Stoll. If not, he would need 2 wins in consos to get to the 5th place match and 3 wins to perform to seed.

All guys who have already lost will need 3 wins to place top 8. Are the quarterfinals tonight? Or is tonight just consos?

Lol. Some of You guys jump off the wagon real quick. Ash had a real bad match. It happens. He is a RsSo. He just has to limit those type of matches. He hasn't had one since Rodrigez upset him last year Ash took a bad shot got knocked of balance and he's down 4-0. He just couldn't recover. I will say he didn't look as strong as Koldz. I don't count the last 3 points because of desperation. This will only motivate him. Hopefully he can bounce back tonight and tomorrow.

I will fess up to my comments. I shouldn't have posted right after that...I was pissed. But it happens. FWIW, I also wouldn't count the points at the end, that was pure desperation.

Learn what? to have enthusiasm and hope for our wrestlers? He lost a match. I still believe Ash can win NCAA this year, if not then before his career is over.

And FYI. Last Month koldzik beat Koll from Cornel in OT. Koll is the backup to Realbuto who Ash decked. So that and a nickel will buy you a cup of coffee but It shows me that Ash really just had a bad match and Kolodzik is very beatable.
