HUGE win, as I'm sure everyone knows. You're welcome, lol, as I did predict it, as per below. Can't believe there were posters underplaying a win vs. a #15 SHU, as compared to any "general" B1G win. Gigantic rivalry game win against an in-state major conference (in hoops) foe. Certainly can't hurt recruiting in the NY/NJ Metro area. What heart this team has - they just battle and battle and battle some more and it was so nice to see all that hard work on defense, rebounding, and working to get good shots, rewarded, finally.

Not going to rehash everything said in countless threads, but have to at least say what a game by Corey and Geo - hope and pray that Corey comes back next year to lead this team to the Tourney - not to say that the Tourney isn't possible this year, but still a long way to go and it'll be tough for this offensively challenged team to get there. And, of course, just about everyone else made key contributions - truly a great team win. Especially loved that 13-0 run at the end - incredible defense and some great offense too. And it was the first time in a long time that the RAC sounded like the RAC of old.

Wish I could have been there, but as I said earlier in the week on another thread, there was no choice on this one. A good friend of mine (former RU prof, who was recruited to UMass 2 years ago) who's only 46, died of a heart attack the other day (despite being in very good shape for his age, at least on the surface) while driving from RU back to UMass and the service was yesterday in Amherst. Simply tragic, as he was on top of his professional world (endowed chair at UMass in the Isenberg School of Management), a father of four, a wonderful youth soccer coach, and just a good guy.

Mark it down - we will beat Seton Hall.

For some insane reason, I truly believe we're going to break through and beat a top team this weekend. I do know it's going to be a friggin' war.

I too am very sorry for the loss of your good friend. 46 is way too young to pass away. My prayers go out to him his wife & his 4 children. This is very sad.

From a 45 yo father of three, I’m very sorry to hear about your friend. Sad and scary.
