More about Anthony Davis (link)

Davis loved Flood and hated Schiano, Harbaugh.

Which two have a job and are in demand? Exactly.

Apparently AD doesnt like hard asses...nothing right or wrong with that

Guessing he won't be playing for the patriots anytime soon

Not everyone responds well to being yelled at all of the time. However enough football players do that most coaches seem to adopt that as their primary strategy.

Also, it brings up a philosophical question. If you are one of the best players on the field, do you have the right to give only 80-90% all of the time, or is it your absolute duty to always give 100%? I get the feeling A.D. figures he's good enough that he doesn't need to bust his a** 100% of the time, and quite frankly, I don't blame him.

I think when you are making the kind of money these guys are getting, you give it your all no matter what. The only problem is that really talented players are capable of dominating without all that much sweat.

I think, if someone were to do a statistical analysis, they'd see that players often "turn it on" as the end of a contract nears and they're approaching free agency or any situation where they are looking to negotiate a new contract. At least skill players seem to do this, IMO. Not as sure about linemen.
