I think the most important thing to remember is that this will not be straight climb to the top. We will have good years and bad. We just need consistent good years.

I was looking at Purdue and since painter has been head coach they missed tournement 4 times in 15 years.A bunch of round 1 losses. They went sweet 16, sweet 16, elite 8 and then missed tournement completly.

While that comment is true,what is the excuse for the Rutgers coaches when the team was a Big East member?Young and Wenzel both complained not being a member of the Big East impacted recruiting.

Bannon and Rice recruited well but self imploded. Waters hired a horrible staff. Hill recruited well but couldn't run a program. And Eddie, well let's just say he was a great player at RU
