You guys are like a pack of wild dogs. I'm an avid reader of a lot of threads for many years and it still comes down to a basic issue. I remember Russ.Wood saying that he never saw any proof that Wade was paying players. Those are the comments I read.

He has reporter credentials, so he can't just start accusing Coaches of something so serious without proof. Rutgers fans can say anything they want without consequences....reporters can't.

It would be a Shame if he stopped posting here because of a handful of posters. Many who don't like him just because he would not give glowing reports about Paul Mulchahy.

The proof never comes out until after the fact. And you are correct that reporters can't just start dropping bombs left and right against coaches, but it's also possible to be less dismissive of the accusations when you suspect they might have merit. I mean for years everybody know Ole Miss football was paying for recruits. I mean LaQuon Treadwell was flashing stacks of $100s on instagram. But no proof, no proof, etc. And then all of a sudden the proof comes out and the program gets hammered.

HS recruits getting paid cash is not like a mafia job where everybody that knows is dead. They are kids. They talk. The money also usually takes a circuitous path to get to them so there are even more people that know about it.
