Looks like former Vanderbilt graduate assistant TJ Weyl has joined the staff as an offensive quality control coach.

Here is his bio from the Vandy site.

TJ Weyl, a former member of staffs at Princeton University and Monmouth University, enters his first year with the Vanderbilt coaching staff. He will serve as a defensive graduate assistant, working with Commodore linebacker coaches and defensive coordinator Jason Tarver.

In 2017, Weyl served as quality control assistant for a Princeton offense that averaged 38.2 points, 483 total yards and 351 passing yards per game. In 2016, Weyl started his coaching career as an offensive quality control at Monmouth, a member of the Big South Conference.

Weyl was a prep football captain and all-league performer at Noble & Greenough High School in Dedham, Mass., starting at linebacker and offensive guard.

A native of Medfield, Mass., Weyl graduated from Cornell University in upstate New York. He was a lacrosse player at Cornell, helping the Big Red to back-to-back NCAA Final Four appearances in 2009-10. He earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Cornell in 2012.

He will be working toward a master’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Vanderbilt.
