I don't think it was me; not that I remember, anyway.Even without a true anchor tenant (which an arena in NB would have in Rutgers) I believe it was @Upstream who showed us they are doing okay in bookings.
Yeah, I think it was.I don't think it was me; not that I remember, anyway.
These are some of the things we have talked about, @bowlgoal.
Very easy, quick and really not expensive at all.
Yes I believe we've come to this conclusion' before, NO MORE WHITE. The minute you paint it, it's dirty. Sheet metal and elastomeric paint are cheap and would do wonders to the exterior. And like @RU_DIO said install some damn lighting, we're not going to a Haunted House, everything should be lit up like a Christmas tree.I would say an exact match to the practice center with a new roof instead of the ugly brown metal slates. They’ve done a great job with the new building so make it look like it’s one complex. Put new seats in the RAC, all Black and Scarlet and it’s a a complete facility. The naming rights to the RAC could add the additional funds to pay for it. What happened to that?

My problem with the New Practice Facility, RAC and Business building all sitting together, nothing flows. It's three completely different architectural styles and looks like a hodge podge of mismatched socks.
No one at Rutgers desires architectural consistency or flow, at least since the 30s or earlier. When was the last truly nice looking building built at Rutgers?Yes I believe we've come to this conclusion' before, NO MORE WHITE. The minute you paint it, it's dirty. +1@T2Kplus10 and I were talking about this lack of consistency in the design on Livingston when we went to the Columbia game. It's almost like they just want to make everything different because there's absolutely no consistency in anything on campus except the old stuff.
I asked that question a few years ago and according a person who would know for sure, that ship sailed about 5-10 years ago. It could have been located where the new gateway center is now being built. Now that the practice facility is being built, they will never move from the current site. If you add an atrium and enclose/wrap the current seating, the RAC can be upgraded to be very nice.I continue to wish that Rutgers consider building a downtown New Brunswick arena. It would do wonders for the downtown area --maybe even spark a revival.
Can't argue with that... Besides the honors college ?The honors college.
The academic buildings right next to them. Can't argue with that... Besides the honors college ?
----Would you like to be parked on the 4th floor of a parking deck with one exit after a game ends?
We lost the Scarlet lot at the RAC to the new building. Those that had parked there will probably be assigned back to the parking deck next year.
The academic buildings right next to them.
Also the new chemistry building. The academic buildings right next to them.
