New RU Practice Facilities Renderings & 360 Panorama

Some people only are only here to bash Rutgers and nothing else. How many people only post during game threads to bash the team and ONLY when we are losing?

That is just one example.

Anyway, this is a pretty big deal, I hope the actual fans of Rutgers Football understand that. There is a lot of good happening at Rutgers now.

The practice field area has needed a major upgrade for a while. When we parked at Johnson Park, we would walk up through the Cornelius Low House and the tennis courts, and the practice field area was not pleasing to the eye at all. This is going to be a huge upgrade and will have a major impact on the impression we make when recruits visit.

AND FINALLY permanent towers ... like the B1G boys ...THIS is what we need. So much yes.

Yes, long overdue on the practice towers.

Now this example might be a little over engineered.

Just kidding.

But seriously the UConn Marching Band is getting their own Rehearsal Tower. Isn't it about time we had one for football?

Can't wait until all this is built. When you look like a big time program, you have something to offer and can start to recruit like a big time program. Before you know it you are playing like a big time program

there will be nice walls and lights up :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

And NEW fields that will drain properly, which the current ones don't, but apparently you keep missing this? As well as permanent practice towers! Com'on '78 this is a very GOOD thing!

Smiles, everyone, smiles! :smiley::smiley::smiley:

Permanent towers were long overdue. After the Notre Dame incident years back I'm surprised the NCAA didnt force schools to transition to them.

If they want to attract recruits, who positively LIVE in TODAY'S CULTURE,why put up walls, fences and gates that scream," YESTERDAY"? There has to be Modern versions of those things. This is about Sports where our Traditions ,if any, hardly exist. NOT about the UNIVERSITY where tradition abounds. Please explain.

The video board and LED lighting will provide some modern touches.

What's the story with video board? I'm confused.

Can the players see it during practices? Or is it going to be facing out toward the street to show the game on gamedays or something?

Either way, it's awesome!!!

Per the renderings, it's outward facing.

That's when you know Rutgers did good. Low post count for something like this means there's nothing to complain about. If this was something bad, there would be 5 pages of posts by now with every supposed Rutgers fan troll coming out of the woodwork to bash it!

Sad, but true ...
