  • Traffic turning onto Hospital Road from Ave E will be directed to create two lanes, with those having Green Lot, VIP and Handicapped Access assigned to the right lane. Those with Yellow, or purchasing gameday parking, will be directed to the left lane.
  • Hospital Road will be closed at Suttons Lane, with signage directing visitors to Rockafeller Road, where Country Club Parking will be assigned.
  • After the game, Hospital Road will be split, as exiting traffic will be sent toward Ave. E and Suttons Lane. Traffic exiting from the Yellow Lot to Rockafeller Road will be permitted to go left or right.

Really? Can't tell if this is a joke or not lol
Country Club Parking is the name of the company that provides parking attendants.

Still doesn't help in understanding what Rutgers will do with cars traveling from Suttons Lane. We know they'll be directed to Rockafeller Rd. But from there can the go to the Yellow Lot? Green Lot? Both?

Ok, just really weird that they needed to name the company in the release as if that mattered, and the way it is referenced is totally unclear/poorly written. Sounds like they are valet parking your car at a local country club. I assume they just mean that you can enter the yellow lot or green lot from Rockefeller road, and parking staff will be stationed there as well.

They did this for the Seton Hall game and it was a disaster, it took me 30 minutes to get from the traffic light at Metlars/Sutton to the Green Lot. The problem that day was compounded in that they did not allow entry into the Yellow Lot from Rockefeller instead making everyone drive up to the point closest to the RAC which really slowed things up.
Then they did it for the Penn State wrestling match and they opened up the earlier entry points into yellow and it seemed to work better.

Obviously info not well publicized to non-season ticket holders.
I get the Rmail weekly newsletter each week and not a peep about this, not even on another email.

I park in Green and was very surprised to see hardly any line coming in on Ave E turning on Hospital. It was around 3:45. Signage was not terribly good; they did point for Game Day to stay to the left on Hospital, not sure I saw anything about Yellow. Coming out signage was pretty poor, but I did see a sign to use both lanes so I jumped in the left and got out pretty quick but I was in the first 5% out of the lot.

How did everyone else do?

I got near the RAC about Half an hour before game time and got in the green lot from ave e easily also.

For the hall game I was not aware of the Sutton entrance bring closed so I got caught up in massive traffic

Still the traffic towards the RAC for the hall game was much worse at the same point in time. The crowd size was about the same so I guess things worked better this time around.

I had no problem getting in (Ave E to Hosp Rd to Green lot), but I was also pretty early. Getting out was a breeze, since the had 2 lanes on Hospital Rd heading to Ave E.

it was a breeze getting in and out, if you moved your ass after the game

shill--I can't say it enough --get a life, you are an ahole--your need to attack is so dumb ,then again ,only knowing you from this board who really gives a crap

In the past I have chronically complained about the parking situation at the RAC (with good reason). I was pleasantly surprised at how well access and egress was on Saturday. They should enforce those rules for every game, not just for sold out games.

Can't do that during the week because there are actual students using those lots and cars coming/going.
