I was watching in a bar , sound wasn't on . But they showed the name on the screen and camera focused on an Ohio state guy . Weird .
Please Knight82, please try not to be too optomistic because there are a few posters that don't believe a thing.
If they beleive he'll be a good one, expect the : maybe he'll drop out because of academics or transfer down so he can play in a winning program.
Otr just have a poster or two claim Jordan will ruin Nigel if given a chance.

Daniels is lackadaisical. Daniels is athletic. Daniels is not very skilled. Daniels does not make good enough use of his athleticism.
Daniels is also playing on one leg and has been for a long time, not that little things like this matter to the college basketball illuminati we have around here.

I have heard Daniels is a GREAT person and a terrific teammate, from sources other than BK. And a fine representative of RU as a student athlete ... and loyal as well (unlike some of the others who bolted after Rice).
I had not heard Daniels was hurt also. I know Lewis is playing on one leg, practically. I know Williams has a bad hand. I know Foreman played on a bad ankle for 3-4 games in early January - during RU's worst stretch (when Laurent was also hurt), when he probably should not have been playing.
That said, from a purely basketball standpoint, Daniels makes some of the most ... shall we say ... mysterious ... passes not to his teammates. We can leave it at that. He also plays good help and weak side team defense ... much better than on the ball defense, shall we say.
Bishop won't make excuses for his play. It's been a tough season for everyone on a lot of levels.
That said, this team is still 100 percent together and working to what goals are left. That is my biggest reason to be prideful of this group of young men wearing our uniform.

I respect your opinion and insight BK more than anyone else on this site. However, I just do not see the effort, desire or hustle for rebounds, loose balls, defense or guarding. He didn't even try to go for a deflection in the backcourt and got into it with Grier who was yelling at him to chase it. On one possession he leaps for a defensive rebound, right after he didn't go for a ball a foot or two away from him. He might be injured but his effort and what I perceive as sulking over not starting is not a good look. He has the athletic ability to make a difference and I would just like to see him use it.

Once again this thread is trying to divert attention from team performance by blaming some fans for not supporting the players.The fact that we still are season ticket holders for decades and not seen one NCAA appearance is completely ignored.This program has lacked accountability for far too long.Firing head coaches every 3-5 years clearly hasn't changed the program in a favorable direction because recruiting still isn't at the level to successfully compete against league competition.

Absolutely fair. It's also fair to assume they are doing so with their front courts largely in tact and with more than 7-8 scholarship players since December

Hate to hear Danieks is playing hurt and I hope that he isn't risking any longer term problems for himself. I really worry about a big kid like Lewis punishing his knees more. Sometimes a medical staff needs to think about a kid's next 60 years and not getting through the season.

thank you. I know everyone on either side seems to be at each others throats but its important to try and remain civil/ I don't like stuff being made up that's not true. I generally don't bash players individually. I do thing their effort is fair game for discussion. I have said that Goode is not Big 10 talent and at time some other but that's pretty much the extent of where I go with that
its disappointing to me that the board is going down this way where its not the posts brought up but the posters. Should not go that way. Talks about the issues and there are plenty. I mean we are on a 28 game conference losing streak
