WOW! Not all will end up leaving, but any players we might be looking at? IF we have schollies available?

Phil, are you saying Craig Little page era level? Did you see anyone that looked good on Pitt?

Back, not sure if you go back as far as Little page, but that was really really dreadful basketball. Eddies era was just really really terrible. lol

Wow, 2 years removed from the NCAA tournament.
Littlepage didn’t coach us in a power 5 league.

you mean better than eddie's third year?
Eddie's teams would have beaten Pitt by double digits......I saw Pitt vs Penn State at the Legends at Barclays in November and could not believe my eyes how bad this team was.....The same night I also saw Texas AM destroy Okla State and was so impressed with A&M...even told Piscataway Mike and his brother that they're a dark horse final 4 squad....wish I preached those words with my brackets...lol

Plum, that is what used to really get to me during the Little page era.I can remember sitting at games at The RAC thinking here we are,a huge state university in one of the richest states in the country with tons of good players within half a tank of gas. We were stuck in a high school conference with schools like GW,Duquesne,Saint Bonaventure, etc.that we had nothing in common with, who played in high school gyms, and almost never on national TV and Little page was getting blown out by them.

Pitt was the worst p5 squad I have ever seen from when I saw them in November.
So that means there was no talent on the team? Bad coaching does not always mean bad players. Fred Hill Jr was probably the worst coach ever but always managed to bring in a few stud recruits. We have been bad forever but yet we someone managed to have a revolving door of players transfer up to good programs.

Teams clearly must be looking at some of these guys as potential pick-ups

But ... also ... halfway decent but under-used players on other teams may be pondering whether a move to Pitt might provide them with more opportunities - particularly grad transfers who could get on the court immediately - & only eat one year of scholarship...
