This program and team is so gutsy. This wasn't our best. We made mistakes. But we never stopped grinding and the shots started to fall and how about that defense!!!!

Their 1 loss is Princeton, Sound familiar? Wins over Penn and ND (who the committee loves). I think they stay at 2.
No way. A win over the #1 team in the country trumps anything on their resume. They have Denver, ND & Penn, we have OSU x2 & Army. UMD puts us over the top.
Why would anyone invite that nitwit to a party???
Hopefully we'll find out. But ND and Penn are rated about 10 spots ahead of Army and ahead of OSU.
We’d still have more top 20 wins including the #1 RP1. Plus GT still has to play Denver, ND has to play Duke and Penn still has Brown. Let’s see where they all end up.
GT has to play Nova. Denver choked as usual, only this time they forgot that they needed the AQ to get in so tanking for the BE hurt them.
I missed the second half ( you can thank me for removing my negative karma from the scene) and thrilled to read of the remarkable turnaround . Obviously Coach Brecht came back and so did the offense. But it sounds like the D saved the day. I think we can beat the Maryland team that played JH tonight but it will take maximum effort. For the good of the program, I won’t watch the finals.
The offense scored 7 goals in the second half and held them to 3. It was an incredible effort on both sides of the field. The D really stiffened up though. That's 4 games in a row where they really locked up the other team when it came to winning time.
Something about this team. As the old adage goes, some teams want to win and some teams know how to.
We out ground balled them and were 50% on faceoffs. We got of 12 more shots and 11 more on goal.
You have to tip your hand to their goalie. He had 21 saves in a losing effort. You get 50% faceoffs and 21 saves and you win that game almost every time.
Conversely, if we get 12 more shots and 50% at the x and better than 50% in the goal, we are going to blow teams out. Their goalie really saved them from that embarrassment.
Unfortunately for them they ran into a team with incredible heart and determination tonight.
We can get to Maryland later. Tonight you have to bask in this one. It was an incredible victory on many levels.

Have we had a MALE Big Ten team championship yet? Who was it.. womens soccer and field hockey were both very close last year (might have been on the same day).. one of them won it for the first team Big Ten championship. Would be great if Men's Lax gets 'er done... good luck to them
The defense was exceptional in the 2nd half. The last goal by osu was a garbage goal
defense only gave up 3 goals in the second half. That’s crazy good vs #12 team in the country.

Defense was off the charts...we gave up 5 goals in the last three qtrs...5!
One was that BS goal at the end and the other was on the bad clear where we turned it over for a quick start and goal.
