No. 3 Rutgers Men's Lacrosse Plays No. 12 Ohio State Thursday in Big Ten Semifinals

Have we had a MALE Big Ten team championship yet? Who was it.. womens soccer and field hockey were both very close last year (might have been on the same day).. one of them won it for the first team Big Ten championship. Would be great if Men's Lax gets 'er done... good luck to them
The mens lax team played in the 2016 championship game.

Field hockey won the BIG Tournament.

As I much as I loved Coach Hayes, I'll have to admit there have been a few times I have forgotten that they are all wearing his name on the back of their jerseys. And for a split second, when someone makes a nice play, I think "who is this Hayes kid? I never heard of him"

Defense figured out the 2 man game at GLE and the game turned.
I give Franko a ton of credit. He had a bit of a rough first half. They were inverting and iso-ing on him and his guy scored a few times. He shut it down in the second half and also made some incredible hustle plays down the stretch. If he doesn’t get the gb or save the ball from going ob or force the turnover on the ride, the game may have turned out very differently for us.

Agreed. He made some unreal plays down the stretch. Like all of our guys, it’s the next play mentality. Love how they embrace that.

LOVED the jerseys with the iconic coach's name on the back. I had dinner with Tom many times in Piscataway, because he was next door neighbor to a good friend. He was a class act, who overcame some tough times to be great. RIP
That’s awesome. He is a legend in our game but one of the most humble guys you’d ever meet.

Agree 100%.

Also loved the Jean-Felix had enough of the picks and started running through guys. The physicality was huge.

Also were able to get rebounds - few times Kirst makes great save and the rebound fell to tOSU player with space on the crease.

Once that settled the offense got in rhythm.

Normally I would say that is horrible news for us. But...Maryland relies on spinning the ball like no other. That will surely have some effect. Hopefully more on them then us. It will also neutralize the home crowd.

Get there if you can!

The entire night OSU started offense iso-ing Franko and Kamish. So much of the game last night was watching those two work along with JJF to battle and defend that two man pick game inverted

That is not easy. Constant pressure athletically AND you have to communicate clearly...

It was cool seeing 44 and 26 walking off the field with their arms around each other soaked in sweat...they put in a lot of work last night...every night. Franko was very good

So happy for those guys

They get to play a few more game together. I start to get emotional thinking about this ending at some point here in the next 30 days

And Reid and Myers are about as tough a duo as there is in D1. Well done.

Patriot League Semi's BU 8 - Lehigh 6 near the half. Some kid named Kirst has 3 goals for Lehigh.

Those two kids have made so many play for us. One of the great things about college sports is seeing those kids develop and mature. One of the not great things is you know their time is coming to an end. When you get to those stage, it really seems hits you how fast it all goes. But those two kids have secure legacies. Everyone knows what they mean to the program.

Good news is the lax family is real and the brotherhood strong. And that never ends.

I’m in Boston 😉

Go Hounds

Your frequent flier miles must be as big as the national debt. Played some summer league at Nickerson a long time ago. Thankfully the turf doesn't appear to be as abominable. Zappa even said it and Philly were the worst turf in existence back then. His brother played for UMASS football and played there when BU had a football team.

No men’s team titles … yet.

The women broke through to win a regular season title, and a conference title, as mentioned above.

Will RU win over Maryland? Probably not. Only beat them once. Ever. But you never know. RU women taking it to NW who had a tremendous history.

Looking forward to hosting a first round game. Get a good draw and maybe a run to the Final Four.

Now 14-8 Penn. Very streaky. Both teams seem to have NASCAR offenses that take extended pit stops. But when they're on, watch out.
