RU Is playing hard … only down 4 … they broke through to the next level (Final 4) … Cornell is winning faceoffs, ground balls and after that defensive mistake … Cornell is more on their game today. Took 8 tries to reach the semis. Will need a few more to go even further. Not like the winner has a prayer vs Maryland anyway.

We've faced great defenseman. It's hard to say what is exactly going on we keep turning the ball over and losing the gb battle by a wide margin.
Adler is very good but he isn't winning this game right now.
Their attack is. Every time I see them play they get these cheap goals like the one they just got from their attack riding.
Another bad call. Even the announcers are saying that's no goal. No idea how you miss that.

Same things that have plagued us all season — late slides on defense, poor shooting and getting killed on faceoffs. We have overcome that by getting turnovers, winning the gb battle and getting clean clears. Well, giving away two easy goals on sloppy clears, getting killed in gbs and turning it over and this is the result.
We’ve “had” shots, yes, but some really lousy ones. The 3 shots coming down the middle were just awful.
Both of the refs were right there. Not only is that not a goal, it's a 1 minute penalty on them.
How can someone say they are better and on another level when we are handing the game to them? How many times can we give them an unforced turnover? Twice right in front of our own goal none the less. There's not much urgency on our part. No slides to double team leading to point blank looks. Cornell came to play and they want it. They are going after the ball in the ground and at our sticks with great success and we look passive. Rutgers looks like 💩 so far. They are lucky to be only down by 5 at half. Ugh!!!!!

Our shooting percentage is terrible. 17% against what was a questionable position for them.
Kids needs to come out and leave it out there. The production they are getting from their midfield is very surprising. That's a very clear area you would have thought we had an advantage going in.
We don't want to slide and that's our system but that only works if we win one on one match-ups. In the first half they were getting all kinds of looks. Either our D has to start sliding which we don't do well or we have to live or die with our guys winning more match ups.
Hopefully Knobloch somehow gets better in 15 minutes. I don't see how we can win without him. He's an x factor

This. Cornell is not Maryland. We gave that first half away. We already beat the Ivy Champions. This game should be much closer. We are playing tight. No question. Being unable to win faceoffs and the moment will do that.
