Not one charge or travel on Purdue

Purdue is really good... didn't you hear?

they never travel....

sometimes we put our faces in their elbows which was clearly a foul by us

other times we jumped straight up in the air, which was clearly a charge by us..

B1G calls way too many charging fouls. Putting aside block/charge, it’s ok to not blow the whistle every damn time there’s some contact.

One theory for why the B1G hasn't done well in the tournament is that the officials let too much physicality go during B1G games. Teams struggle to make the adjustment to how games are officiated in the rest of the country.

I actually think it’s somewhat the opposite. The BIG gives way too favorable a whistle to big bruisers on the offensive end, which is why the best big men are usually in the BIG. The NCAA is about guards and the refs don’t give the big men the favorable whistle they get in league play.

They did have charges, travels, moving screens and 3 second violations, they just didn’t get called!

How the f’k do you lose a game where you commit no offensive fouls?
They had one over the back, that’s it
That's why I said that if the game were called fairly, say 20-14 fouls instead of 24-11 (we did foul them more, as we are very physical), we win by 8-9 and it never gets closer than 5-6. We were the better team tonight at least, and maybe not just tonight.
