Why oh why would you invite a Penn State fan to the wedding???:sunglasses:

The Kitten started game 5 and got the win, he relieved in game 7 and was the winning pitcher in that one also.
Harvey was the pitching coach for the Pirates my whole tenure there, Skins (Bob Skinner) was my batting coach.
Harvey had great stuff and pin point control, he was a farmer from Ohio and damn proud of it.

I asked him frequently to tell me about his perfect game gem, he always said he never felt worse for a start in his life, he had a slight fever, chilled and ached all over and had "nothin in the bull pen"… I kid you not, he told Danny Murtaugh to have someone ready…Go figure
Great inside story Zap. As I'm sure you know Dog Skinner played left on those great Buc teams. Really good lefty stick. Always around 300. By the way, Adcock was the first guy to ever hit a homer to dead center in the Polo Grounds. Only other to do it, believe it or not, was Lou Brock. Talk about death valley. You couldn't even see that far.

Congrats!

Now down to brass tacks, was this a tenancy by entirety or in common or joint? Always have to look out!

Camden, what about Bob Prince. What a hoot. Was he a piece of work or what?

As I remember, Bob Prince played it straight in doing the national play-by-plays. I was only nine, but I thought he was the equal of the Yankee announcers (Mel Allen, Red Barber and Phil Rizzuto before he went crazy). This sometimes happened in the Series. I can't remember the name of the main Oakland A's play-by-play guy, but it was remarkable how much more objective he was calling the 1972-1974 World Series' than in his regular season performances.
