OK, did we just have a small earthquake in Central Jersey at 1:28pm?

Things in my house in Monmouth County were shaking twice. I went to my PC to see if there was any news

Felt and heard a rumble that lasted about 15 sec.

Just called my mom (in Hamilton) she said she thought she heard something but didn't feel anything, which would be odd I guess, but who knows our neighborhood is old swampland so the house settles all the time lol! Maybe whatever shaking hit that area caused snow to fall off the roof hence the noise she heard.

same hear in Ringoes. heard something rumble pretty loud. Thought about a truck on rt. 31 ..but the snow thing has been happening all week too.

Haven't felt a thing at work in Hopewell, NJ.
Me neither, but all of a sudden a couple minutes ago the TV cord I have in my office started moving - like slapping against the wall. Very strange - no reason for it to move. I think I'm just paranoid after reading this thread.

Whatever dude..

It was a joke.

Loss of sense of humor is another telltale sign. It's not looking good for you.

Anyway, I just checked with several PDs and MCSO and none of the agencies I spoke to have gotten reports of anything.

And USGS still says "nothing".

I don't think I felt anything in East Brunswick, but I do remember the 2011 earthquake.

Jersey Shore Hurricane News said it wasn't an earthquake because the USGS earthquake maps didn't show anything near NJ.
