Yeah that's where you can find the TV listings. I wish they showed more information about the actual events though. I couldn't even find what the pools were in the soccer tournament there. Luckily we have Wikipedia now, otherwise it would be nearly impossible to actually follow this stuff.
 
Watching the bike race, man the Iranian guy crashed off the outside corner on a steep downhill.....lucky for him there was a wall to hit.

I'm surprised they let the crazy bicycle fans get so close to the riders. One fan is actually putting his hand on a riders back to help push him uphill. I guess they aren't worried about nuts doing something crazy.
 
I can't believe how boring the sports world is this time of year. I actually watched the air rifle competition this morning(very boring), Japan/ S.Korea volleyball, USA/Croatia water polo, swimming and now bicycle road racing. I guess I'm trying to get my sports fix in for the last few months as I find basketball and baseball unbearable to watch.

I'm watching too, actually more exciting than I thought it would be . The ping pong table looks so tiny with these big hitters,lol

That bike race was crazy, the down hill section was loaded with crashes. 6hrs and two of the top three crashed with 25kn to go....good netting otherwise they would have taken a tumble.

Finished farm chores it's hot and sticky out, Watching NBCsports during 1/2 of soccer, the USA women volleyball is very entertaining. They stick one hand up falling back and get the ball to go straight up in the air. I do that and it's in my neighbor's farm.

That SI thing was probably just active agents and marketing dollars at work.

Morgan has some high profile marketing deals with big name companies. Companies that advertise in magazines and on TV. It is a win-win for magazines to put Morgan on the cover. The have the sex appeal they understand and use a "brand name" and benefit their top clients by pushing their brand celebrity.

All Carli has to do is keep scoring. She seems to be a happy warrior and people love that. She will get the recognition and pay.. it will happen.. and probably at Morgan's and others expense.. eventually. The pie for ad dollars for womens soccer stars can't just expand indefinitely. When Carli's slice gets bigger, others will do with less. But can it happen before she leaves the sport? She's what? 34? Cannot play forever.

After they won the last Olympics gold (actually world cup I think) each team member got their own SI covers-bought hers and Hope Solos.

Not so sure its all marketing. She's has an intensity cuteness but she'd never be a Playboy Centerfold-even with clothes. That team has had some real babes over recently. Hope Solo is centerfold hot. Given her personal life comes off sometimes as "trash or a dirty girl". Not even sure Carli likes a lot of attention.
