This is correct . Mulchahy came in to build a football program and he did that . He wanted basketball to succeed but made 2 bad hires .

Agree totally. Bob knew that it was FB that would elevate RU into a major conference. And he accomplished that goal in part by hiring Greg Schiano and getting the necessary funding to put a competitive product on the field.

It is the short minded RU folks that blame Mulcahy for the current state of MBB.

Like Mulcahy had something to do with the Craig Littlepage and Bob Wenzel eras.
