Looking ahead to kanas this week. They are 0-2 with a close lose to South Dakota State and got blown out 55-23 by memphis and started fall camp with 64 scholarship players. It would be difficult for me to imagine losing to them but it will probably be a close game.
What Kansas does have going for them is that they are an Air Raid team whose offensive coordinator, Rob Likens came from Cal last season and lead the nation in passing. Cal is coached by Sonny Dikes who worked with Mike Leach and Hal Mumme at Kentucky in the late 90s.
What is working against them is do to their scholarship limits they only use 2 LBs and have to play nickel the entire game which has had a very negative impact on their run defense.
After the loses the last 2 weeks it is definitely possible we lose to them. Thoughts?
