It's pretty ridiculous that they can't find a fix for this...but then again I've yet to see one thing that would make me think they're even attempting the notion of a fix.The cop posted at the corner of Hospital Road and Avenue E sitting in his car watching traffic back up onto route 18 and doing absolutely nothing about it.

They "cone off" several of the best spots in the green lot, too. For good reason, though. It's for handicapped parking. The labeled handicapped spots are often filled.Another amusing parking note ... the Scarlet lot, all of whose spots are a remarkably easy walk from the arena, and easy in and out before and after the game, has "coned off" spots for who knows who. Stop with the "coned off" (reserved?) spots. The staff needed to jockey the yellow cones preserving those parking spots would be better used directing traffic and tearing off parking stubs.
See my post above. It's people like you that slow things down. Your driving to the Green Lot from Avenue E and blocking traffic from making the left turn into the Green Lot. They should block off Hospital Rd behind the RAC and make it 2 lanes from Avenue E to the Red Lot and 2 lanes from Sutton Lane to the Game Day, Yellow and Green Lots. They would reverse the direction to leave so it eliminates cross traffic. In addition to the lazy cop and the worthless attendants you have the people who park during the day in the green lot and decide to leave when everyone is trying to get into the lot! Now the attendants have to stop the flow of traffic to allow these idiots to get out! It took me a half hour to get from Route 18 to the green lot when there were only a little over 3000 people in attendance! What is going to happen at a game where a decent crowd actually shows up?
I've seen many of the "coned off" parkers at the Scarlet lot. The parkers are not handicapped. Athletics Dept staff. School administrators. Donors. Friends of the program -- think front-row attendees. They "cone off" several of the best spots in the green lot, too. For good reason, though. It's for handicapped parking. I know free parking can be found, but that's not the point. People either aren't doing their jobs or it's just plain poorly organized. It's always a new adventure getting in there.I found free parking down by the Livingston Gym..yeah it took me 15 minutes to walk but it was worth it and I can avoid the traffic next time by going down river road and up the back way
