Was at the game and was shocked along w/ the OSU fans by the 40+ foot shot as time expired, leading to a PSU dogpile on the court. OSU was behind the whole game--they seemed a bit tired-- this was the 4th game in about a week or so. Bates-Diop had been listed as doubtful so he might have been off (though he did make 2 3s at the end to tie w/5 secs left. Penn State shot 3s at nearly 80%.
Schottenstein Center had the feeling of a pro game, which is why I'd love to see a game at the RAC--unfortunately it's 700 miles away from me. (Was part of a group of 450 Taylor U. alumni & friends who went to the game b/c the coach is our alumnus. Too bad we "jinxed" him! Coach Holtmann was kind enough to meet with us an hour before tip-off. He said it was going to be a "tough game." From what I read on this board, Pike's a lot like Holtmann, and that's a good thing!)
