You're dreaming. BU has an RPI of 14, RU 12 and Duke 10.Absolutely true. Doesn't look like it will happen but if BU pulls it out we're in, no question.
Hell I didn't even attend y'all's school(my wife did) and know all about the RUScrew. Now at 9 pm I'm going to know exactly what it feels like.As much as I'd like that to be true you're living in a fantasy world. Also, Duke is up 9-3 in the second quarter, so save yourself the aggravation.
Have to stop leaving it up to other people. Need to control your own destiny when you are anup and comer. Do not lose to UD or finish against MD and we are not sitting here upset.
Duke wins 18-8. Rutgers & Army will be the first 2 out. F Denver. And F Syracuse and Notre Dame for losing to Carolina to screw RU.
Most true statement of the night.Refs always favor established teams in all sports.
I think with the record we have and the schedule they played, it's very hard to use this as an excuse. They current system is the problem and is outdated. It seems pretty clear that they need a larger playoff to account for the significant growth in the sport or adjust the automatic qualifying process.Exactly! We have to stop blaming others and take it when it's on our grasp.
No question we missed some opportunities. But if just one of the three unexpected results I mentioned went the other way we're celebrating the first NCAA bid in 13 years in a little over an hour.Come on, Shill, you are much smarter than that. We don't qualify for our own conference tournament and we're blaming other schools for "screwing" us by losing?
Oddly enough, it would be hard to find two schools I hate more than Syracuse and Notre Dame. (Well, one, maybe.) But still, we were in position to take care of business and did not.
I was never a coach (except 2nd assistant on my son's LL team one year.) You absolutely speak the truth. I would go a step farther and say when you are a team that is "not supposed to win" even if you have been winning alot lately. If you switch RU and UNC (exact same schedules and results) this year, "UNC" still gets in losing to Delaware and 5th in the B1G.Best lesson I ever learned as a coach was when you are a team that is new to winning you catch no breaks in seeding and from the refs. People never believe you are supposed to be there or doing that well. Prove everyone wrong so that the never can question that you deserve it. We just have to keep proving it.

I'd be shocked if we got in. A fair amount of weak AQs this year. One thing is for certain. If we don't get in, we got incredibly unlucky. A resume like our's almost always gets in. We did everything we were accused of not doing last year.
Unlike last year, we truly can beat any team in that tournament this year.
Must be nice to play in the minor leagues. We would murder Marquette or Yale in a tourney game.I'd be shocked if we got in. A fair amount of weak AQs this year.
The announcers even said these are not the best 16 teams. If your going to have a tournament and not include the top 16 then somethings wrong with your format. It's simply an outdated format run by an outdated committee. Friggin Monmouth made it for Pete's sake. We play them we blow them out. That's called getting screwed. The field is simply too small to have this many AQ'sI will be disappointed if we don't get in but I won't call it getting screwed. If we beat Delaware and Maryland like we should've (Del) and could've (Maryland) our resume would be stronger and we would be in. If we won both of those and still got snubbed, that would be getting screwed.
When people talk about elite teams always getting the breaks they do. In football we used to break big plays when we were first rebuilding and we would always get a holding call or block in the back. When we started consistently doing it, and got good, the refs stopped throwing those flags.I was never a coach (except 2nd assistant on my son's LL team one year.) You absolutely speak the truth.
