How about F Rutgers for losing at UDel and getting their asses handed to them at Hopkins and Penn State?Duke wins 18-8. Rutgers & Army will be the first 2 out. F Denver. And F Syracuse and Notre Dame for losing to Carolina to screw RU.
How about Hopkins losing by a bunch to Princeton? A Princeton team that we beat. Do we not get credit for that win?How about F Rutgers for losing at UDel and getting their asses handed to them at Hopkins and Penn State?
What was RU's best road win -- UMich? Fairfield? Schedule couldn't have been much better with SB, Army and Princeton all at home.
You do know Monmouth made it and they lost to Delaware. Right. Take a look at their schedule they played 1 top 20 team Hofstra and lost. Too many AQ's for such a small field. AQ's are fine in b-ball when you have a 64 team field but not 8 in a 16 team field. The format is outdated. How about F Rutgers for losing at UDel and getting their asses handed to them at Hopkins and Penn State?

Cali do you have any insight on the OOC schedule for next year or is it too early.

This is where Delany has to start muscling in and taking control...whether it's getting his guys like Barry Alvarez on the committee or even Hobbs or something else, but changes have to be made.I don't, though I wouldn't expect it to change too much. No acc school would play us after we reached out to every single one last season- p*ssies.
We have a super long history with Army and Princeton. They will be on on it. Brown was a 2 year deal and we only played them once so we will be at their place.
I honestly wouldn't expect to see really any changes. Perhaps sub out NJIT, if anything.
Of course ACC schools won't play us. Because they rather go lose to some team like Denver where it won't hurt them. Lacrosse is so screwed up that beating us won't benefit them. Look at UNC's schedule. They did a whole lot of losing. But it's against perceived power teams, so it doesn't matterI don't, though I wouldn't expect it to change too much. They even said on the Show the Top 16 teams aren't in which is absurd. How can anyone take the tourney seriously if several of the best teams aren't even in it?That's really the issue. Using the tournament to "spread the game" is antiquated. There is too much being put into this now by a number programs, including ours.
A school like Monmouth and Denver have much easier roads to the tournament than a school like us.
Every ACC school turned us down because a win/loss to us is not perceived the same as a win/loss to Hopkins, Denver, Loyola, etc. Hopkins could go winless and a game verse them would still hold more value than a game against us.Ring... Ring... Ring...
Syracuse: "Hello"
Rutgers: "Hey Orange, it's the Scarlet Knights, how about we schedule you in lacrosse?"
Syracuse: "Is this the same Rutgers that has repeated turned down our request to schedule a football series?"
Rutgers: "Yes"
Syracuse: CLICK
see how that works

I think it's time for me to go change my Depends. Not sure what one has to do with the other.
Syracuse lacrosse was asked and declined to renew the series. Like every other wimpy acc team. #scared
And for good reason.
OOC in football is also totally different. Two bottom of their conference schools playing each other does nothing for both schoolsSo when Syracuse declines a offer to play Rutgers in lacrosse it's because they're pussies/wimps (your words). But when Rutgers declines to play Syracuse in football it's business.
Umm ok.....
I think it's time for me to go change my Depends.
I think it's time for me to go change my Depends.I know a lot of people in the department. I have not heard once that Syracuse reached out to play us in football. So I call bullsh*t.
Why are you even here ya crumb bum? Come to piss on us after getting pissed on by the NCAA for the 2nd year in a row? Don't you have snow to shovel in your driveway?I think it's time for me to go change my Depends.

Now that's fvcked up. When beating a team head to head and having a higher RPI has no merit in the committees eye's. It's time for a new committee when they don't even follow their own criteria. These selections seem more haphazard than following a set of criteria. This makes no sense at all.
And we beat Army. Something that Duke couldn't manage. Now that's fvcked up. When beating a team head to head and having a higher RPI has no merit in the committees eye's. Agreed. It would at least be a good way to force change. Travel costs wont be too high either. All NE schools. NCAA wil be forced to change tournament rules or lose revenue to others. There should be an 8 team Lax NIT...the top 8 teams that didn't get in were Rutgers, Army, Hofstra, Nova, Providence, Richmond, Brown and Binghamton. Here's my 8 team Lax NIT...first 2 rounds are played at highest ranked team with the Final played on Monday morning before the NCAA Champ Game on Mem Day.
#1 Rutgers vs #8 Binghamton 8 PM Friday on BTN (Hobbs would ask for a Friday night game to get RU Stadium set up for graduation after the game)
#2 Army vs #7 Brown
#3 Hofstra vs #6 Providence
#4 Nova vs #5 Richmond
We won't play on grass...Lax is meant to be played on turf. Therefore we will continue to play at RU Stadium.No.
But the atmosphere at HPSS is pretty awesome. Players love it.
