I'm not sure he wasn't already ruined but I am sure Jets didn't help (Sam Darnold now top 7 in NFL)

Honestly the win yesterday really put the Jets in no mans land.
What are the QB/offense options for next year? There is no real OC, the QB that you bet the house on probably doesn't want to play, no one really wants him back but is there a better option? Is there a good free agent possibility (Darnold II, perhaps)?
How does the defense get fixed?
Does anyone in management actually care if the Jets win a game or have a winning season?
That Athletic report is shocking, hilarious, and makes perfect sense on why the franchise is so awful.
If they get Darnold back, they'll only screw him up again and he'll suck. Minnesota has a real coach. That's why he's thriving there. Plus, his Madden rating isn't high enough for them to sign.Honestly the win yesterday really put the Jets in no mans land.

If his stewardship of the Jets is any indication, the US would be at war with those countries inside of a month.Mr. President-elect.Can you please send him some where else for the next four years..................like Mongolia or Uzbekistan?

Was a great documentary !Today I saw the new "30 for 30" about the (Jets) "Sack Exchange."
Man what a mess those guys were - Gastineau especially was/is a haunted house.
They looked awful in interviews to boot.
But its a compelling segment - like a recent pile-up on the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway Bridge.
Jets need an exorcism I think
Was a great documentary !
The Mud Bowl vs Miami still pisses me off.
As does firing Walt Michaels.
As does blowing that game vs Cleveland in 86.
I was always a Gastineau guy!
I don’t blame him one bit for confronting Favre and he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame
And as Mike Greenberg said “ had those Jets teams won a super bowl - the Sack Exchange would be revered eternally !
Great point“ had those Jets teams won a super bowl - the Sack Exchange would be revered eternally
I'd like to get Vrabel. I'll pass on Rex. Rather have Rivera than Rex.2 Former NFL Head Coach Scheduled For Jets Interviews: Report | 710 WOR

The hiring process is being coordinated by a consulting firm headed by Jets former GM Mike Tannebaum. Ultimately it will be Woody's decision. Reportedly he wants to wrap it up before he is off to the UK, which has not been announced, but is widely expected.I'd like to get Vrabel. I'll pass on Rex. Rather have Rivera than Rex.
Probably, if we can get Woody to sell them. Can we get Steve Cohen to buy the Jets!
Woody's not going back to the UK. Trump has already announced someone else about a month ago.The hiring process is being coordinated by a consulting firm headed by Jets former GM Mike Tannebaum. Thanks for the correction. Here I had gone the entire year without ever being wrong, and blew it on the last day!Woody's not going back to the UK. Trump has already announced someone else about a month ago.

Happens to the best of us.Thanks for the correction. Here I had gone the entire year without ever being wrong, and blew it on the last day!

They'd have been revered eternally in the NY area. The rest of the US, not so much. Was a great documentary !

It shouldn't. There's close to a zero percent chance that a competent coach will be hired.Tannenbaum leading the search does not give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.
What's his Madden rating?Vrabel is the only name that should be pursued.
Can't do that. Vrabel is a hot commodity. There are jobs out there that are more attractive than the Jets job. At minimum, need a Plan B.Vrabel is the only name that should be pursued.
Why are they inerviewing either one of those people?I'd like to get Vrabel. I'll pass on Rex. Rather have Rivera than Rex.
Ideally, you hire a GM first and let him hire the coach. Doesn't look like the Jets are going in that direction though. It shouldn't. There's close to a zero percent chance that a competent coach will be hired.

From what I have read, Vrabel and Ron Rivera are 1 and 1A.
Vrabel is probably off the board. If he wants it Kraft will hire him in NE.Highly doubt Vrabel will want the job. You have an impulsive owner who doesn’t understand football, only the commercial aspects of the business. If they are going to hire an experienced HC, I would put Pete Carrol at the top of the list and I think he would want the job. He was HC there and didn’t get a chance, in true Jet fashion they fired an eventual Super Bowl coach.
