It’s time for your boy JayDog’s annual big east tournament thread.

Anybody going this year? If so, what sessions and which games are you looking forward to?

I’ll be at session one for the tripleheader, coworker is a big seton hall fan so it looks like we’ll have to stay the entire time to catch the Smurfs in the late game

Session to appears to be pretty up in the air with the 200+ dollar get in for St. John’s, might grab some seats for the second game at a discount.

Session 3 on Thursday night, we will also be there

Day drinking at the garden is a timeless tradition, looking forward to it

MSG is a great location for the Big East Tournament because there are so many teams in close proximity to New York City.

Passionate fan bases as well
A timeless tradition that is admittedly watered down with the new big east, but still a must see IMO

Well it used to be that way.
Now you got 1/3 the league from the Midwest - Creighton, DePaul, Marquette, Butler .
And Georgetown is a distant shadow of the old days- they been more irrelevant than us for almost 3 decades now

If it wasn’t for St John’s success this year , this years BET would be blah.

As long as the favorites win - the Friday Semis ( always the highlight of the BET) will be a fun watch: St John’s / Marquette / UCOnn and Creighton.

For someone who attended every BET in full from 1996-2014 - the crowd / excitement at MSG is unmatched especially when you had a school with a huge following : UCOnn / Cuse / St John’s etc.

That being said, I ll be watching all big conference tournaments on the tele for which I’m most intrigued by the SEC Tourney this year !

Miss the days of selling my Semi Finals and finals tickets to those obnoxious UConn and Syracuse fans...

Had two of them with a bidding war one year. Damn, that was fun...
