Nah. Just talking about slight contact... which can easily cause $500 worth of damage.

Negative.

Slight contact would cause zero damage.

Contact sufficient to cause any kind of damage to the clip (which is the plastic piece also known as the fascia, which most people would refer to as the "bumper") is going to be a lot more, as the average price for a front or rear clip on a late model car is north of $1000.

I have a leased 2015 Jetta that I keep around for my two daughters to drive whenever they come home. The front clip has been replaced twice, the rear once. Both parts are $1100 (each) plus labor.
