Maybe maybe not. But the the committee put the correct 4 teams in. Georgia was a very good team and could have beaten any of the 4 teams that made and could have lost to any of them.

Interestingly, Michigan plays Texas and Washington next year. Thus there will be a rematch of championship game in 2024.

I had grand plans to get a lot of work done today. Caught up on sleep 2X. Did my first work out of the year (extended-to cover me for rest of month 🤣), and watched a lot of football. Work can wait until tomorrow.
Just got back from the game. What a game and what an experience. The Rose Bowl was a bucket list item and it certainly did not disappoint. Hopefully Rutgers can make it there someday.
It was a Qb power off tackle for a walk in touchdown. The right tackle got beat and thrown into the backfield. If he simply makes and holds his block it’s a walk in TD.
I was rooting for Bama for sure but a nice win for Michigan. Was expecting their usual no-show.
Nothing against you @BigEastPhil but I hate the use of "rematch" in team sports in different years and it's the media sparking this fake narrative. The Eagles and Chiefs players were going out of their ways to say it isn't a rematch for this season. Different players, coaches etc. Plus there was no trophy/title on the line.
Funny how the same fans that lament “Walmart Wolverines” and Harbaugh’s illegal shenanigans (sign-stealing, recruiting, ect ) are suddenly Michigan fans.
It's easy to be a Michigan fan when your alternative is Alabama.
Nick Saban’s reputation is beyond reproach. He gets the best players because he’s a great coach and it’s Alabama. He doesn’t need to cheat.
