OT: Congrats to our soccer teams.

Both the men and women's soccer teams are listed as pre-season top teams nationally. The women in the top 10 and the men at #25. Obviously great for RU, but also for the BIG.
Can't wait until our other sports start to show up at least close to these positions.

That's another great thing about being in the Big Ten. That recent All-Time ranking by the AP showed me just how bad it was to not be in a real conference. No matter who we beat, we had a real hard time cracking any rankings. So we had few points of data to help us rise higher than 86th. Put us in the Big Ten..have the same level of.. well.. mediocrity.. and we would have fared much better.

And the soccer rankings? Well done lads and lassies. Being in the B1G Ten means you get the benefit of the doubt and when you beat people, it means something. They cannot be ignored because they will end up beating some teams that "matter".
