I think Florida is lying about their stats

or maybe you should have an obsesssion with cases, rather protect those at risk.... still almost 50% of deaths in nursing homes and yet none of these peeps so passionate about masks give a damn about them or about businesses...Its an obsession with case numbers and deaths everyday

You wear it basically out of fear tom... most of us do to an extent... it’s ok to be afraid but not to the extent which these politicians are pushing. The issue is as long as a person is not endangering you or another person the fact he or she doesn’t want to wear a mask is their right of choice.
What don't you get? By not wearing a mask you are endangering other people around you by increasing their risk of contracting the virus. It's literally that simple.

Just curious, do you have some economic interest in the sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants?
Im in that business. So many friends are losing their businesses. Life long businesses. No economic benefit for me. Heartache is a more accurate description. And it's just the start. Not looking forward to 2021 from an industry standpoint at all. Will be devastating and in the end for no reason, no science at all.

Show me where I said to do so.
Never said you did ... it was said tongue in cheek ... it is EXACTLY though what Is going to be done by Cuomo and Murphy... already did it in most of Calif. ... see how that worked out... watch if they don’t completely shutdown in NYC by mid next week or before New Years. You will continue to see protests as they did again in NYC with the imminent restaurant closure of one of the best for many years.

Holy crap, California is a hot mess. No wonder they shut things down. 60k cases in one day, wow.
So they wear masks don’t they ? ... restaurants are closed , schools are closed, as well as many other businesses ....it must be because people are locked up inside their homes with family...brilliant strategy ...

Just curious. What is your rejection of science based restrictions? Let government rule your life without question?

Quite the opposite. The science and data dictate my actions and advocacy. Perhaps you missed my post replying to you questioning the decision by Cuomo to close indoor dining and bars. You’ll have to look elsewhere for your labels.

They closed things 4-5 weeks ago and recording highest case numbers..remember they said wait 2 weeks

The shutdowns and lockdowns are not based on science

I read your post and others. You and others plays both sides of the issue. Which is fine. But you and others are ok with restrictions that are not science based. My industry friends are being devistated. But you all focus on masks.

You don’t think what we have witnessed in California , NY, NJ is not control ? it’s not about the science and it won’t be about science if we don’t continue to see the proper distribution of the vaccines. Even in states where mask wearing was strictly enforced we still have major outbreaks of covid19.
California got smacked down today in federal court. Strip clubs are exempt from lockdown. Get your socially distanced lap dance from 15 feet away wit your mask on!

Saw a mother and maybe 12 yo son riding a bike in my development both wearing masks on Tuesday and one woman wearing a mask on a bike before the snow started yesterday.

and how many of them are actually sick to the point of going to the hospital? And if that many people are sick, I guess shutting things down doesn't work at stopping the virus, lol
Anyone who reads my posts knows I am not one-sided. One of my fans on ignore calls me mister two sides or something like that.
I'm very familiar with this area, as we vacation in Yavapai County several times per year.

Quite a sobering situation in a place that has no mask mandates or shut downs.

Ummm, have you looked at their hospitalizations lately? Google before posting.

Of course shut downs work. They just shut things down because they saw what was about to come. Going to take a few weeks for the shutdowns to make an impact.

Used to be 2 then 3 now its 4 soon to be 5...guess what eventually like every other state or country cases rise peak and drop..please dont try to say lockdowns are the reason

Stay in your basement then and let the rest of us get on with living

They work for only a short time...and then ... you kill more by closing businesses , schools etc. so you really aren’t saving anything... why don’t you check with Germany ?

On the surface, I could agree with you. I totally bought into the whole initial lockdown. But now we know what we know and these same stupid policies continue. So what’s your explanation for these things still happening?

What policy in NJ? You can eat indoors here. The curfew I think is silly, but otherwise other than capacity limits and wearing a mask it's pretty normal.

Limitations on travel and big gatherings are pretty much everywhere at least in the case of sports a B1G rule.

Oh good, the magical rise and drop argument is back.
So prove it’s wrong .... if it were absolute factual these cases wouldn’t have risen as they have in Europe and in the Great State of California...Thanks Newsome., Cuomo and Murphy...People have been wearing masks... not having large out of family gatherings... can’t say the same about some in government.

You have some big travel plans coming up? Or are you just complaining about things that don't affect you again in order to prop up your failing fake-news narrative?

Don't answer; we know.

Here in NJ, everything is open, you just have to wear a mask and social distance. Restaurants, open. Bars, open, Stores, open. There is a curfew on bars and restaurants, indoors, at 10pm, which I think is kind of frivolous because it will just have people partying at home. But otherwise I am not sure what he can't do.

RU games- B1G rule. I guess the B1G is part of the conspiracy.

Travel- LOL. Don't think we need to be worried about him missing that. That has been the real bummer for me aside from missing RU games.

Concerts- also a bummer for me but I doubt he was doing that before.

Otherwise, all the griping from people in NJ is a big LOL. From all the moronic claims that NJ is some nanny state things are more open here than most. Personally I would be OK eating outside in LA where the weather allows but I'm not going to rant on in here when I'm 2500 miles away.
