First he cries, on national tv, over the George Floyd saga (pretending like he actually gives a shit about it)

Then there was “the snub” and his active participation in it

He then talks out both sides of his ass in regard to quarterbacks getting injured, and praises George for their win in the SEC championship game when they’re starting quarterback went down

Completely devalues the regular season saying that Indiana and SMU should not have gotten in, like they have any input on the league they’re in and who they play

Criticizes his alma mater, Ohio State, on national TV speaking about their “lunatic fringe”

And finally, speaks about a colleague, Shannon Sharpe, and his views on Ryan Day
being winless against Michigan

Sharpe is not really the guy you wanna mess with. Below is his response - If I were Kirk, I would keep his name out of my mouth moving forward.

LOL, Sharpe is a tool bag too. Just like SAS.

Sharpe isn't gonna do shit to Herbstreit and frankly, Sharpe looked stupid with his rants against Ryan Day.

Herbstreit can be insufferable at times, for sure. As most of these guys are but Sharpe is overreacting, which isn't exactly a surprise here.
I’m telling you I would not cross sharpe, the guy does not give a shit and will not hesitate to call at Herbie for being a douche.

Also, you don’t call out a colleague on national TV like Herbie did, that is the epitome of unprofessional, and even Fowler was trying to run interference after he realized what was going on

LOL, what is Sharpe gonna do? Oh he's going to call him out? I am sure Herbstreit is scared. Herbstreit is a bigger talent at ABC/ESPN than Sharpe anyway.

Sharpe is a loudmouth clown on TV like his buddy SAS. They love dishing it out but then get all pissy when it's given back to them.

The Biggest Tool Award this bowl season has already been given to Sean McDonough for his tirade against Indiana and the B1G overall. I'm sure he made his bosses at ESPN very happy building up the SEC and ACC while dismissing the B1G as not being as good.

But then....

The B1G runnerup curbstomped the ACC runnerup
The 3rd B1G team crushed the 3rd SEC team
The SEC runnerup beat the ACC champ, leaving the ACC with no one in the Final 8.

Won't say the SEC isn't deeper than the B1G but the ACC is nowhere near as good as the B1G.

Of course he’s not gonna beat his ass, but he will expose him as a fraud and make him look like a complete idiot without thinking twice

Too much to lose if your Herbie, whereas sharpe gives zero ****s

McDonough is a dipshit. Hope he was crying himself to sleep after OSU cock slapped Tennessee.

Herb talks too much - a guy could tie his shoes and Herb will give you a breakdown while swooning over his "athleticism."
I have to turn the volume off when he's doing a game - which seems to happen a lot

My only issue with Herbstreit is when he does Thursday NFL games on Amazon with Al Michaels. It’s a horrible broadcast, both of them are mailing it in and putting no effort into the broadcast. Kirk only talks college football during the broadcast as that is what he knows, just stick to college football.

"Physicality" is NOT a word and I will die on this hill.

Its part of the TV marketing to exaggerate what football players can do during games.
A woman could do a quad in skating and nobody blows on about "athleticism" or "physicality."
Let a guy jump 2 feet for a sideline pass and announcers can carry on like they just called the Secretariat win.
Football looks good in slo-mo and that makes blowing hard easier.

Kirk is a total soft bitch. He blocked me on X last year during March Madness because I said he probably thought Alabama was the #1 hoops team in the country.
He’s overexposed and a condescending prick who needs a beating.

The network mouthpiece’s are towing the company line. That’s it. Of course ESPIN and channel 7 are going to praise the ACC/SEC and knock the Big Ten.
They promote their product!
The bottom line the Big Ten with their markets and resources are blowing by the ACC and really have closed the gap with the SEC.
From a coaching and facility standpoint, I think the BIG is right there w the SEC.
All the whining these guys do is not going to change that.
Hey, the SEC is really a powerhouse basketball conference!
Who knew?
