One game away from the World Series. Unfreaking believable. Enjoy the ride fellas. We are on the verge of history.
Did anyone saw Murphy's eyes when he hit that home run? They were as big as beach balls when he saw that pitch. Must be the same size as those beach balls he's seeing at the plate. Dude is on fire right now.Carlos Beltran with Houston in '04. It got him a big contract with the Mets. Btw, why in the hell would you pitch to Murphy right now? Even if the bases are loaded I would walk him. I rather give up 1 run instead of 4. Every pitch is a beach ball to Murphy.
This was actually a good play by Duda, just couldn't get the hit. Everyone been saying "bunt against the shift." Finally someone listens lol.Duda bunt wtf. Drop him to 6 or take him out of the lineup.

You know they're playing in the NLCS right? Apparently not.Took em 29 years to win a World Series, about time they did.
Mets could be underdog in the next three games of this series. Mets in seven. $$$$
Well first you had the Dodgers with their unbeatable one-two punch of Kershaw and Greinke. The Cards were supposed to be the best too all year since they won 100 games while playing in what was by far the best division in baseball. But then you had the Cubs who were streaking, having won their last 8 games of the season. Who had easily defeated the 99 win Bucs on the road in the wild card game before easily dispatching the Cards. Most people were considering them the best before the playoffs began. The team you didn't want to face because they were really hitting their stride. And they'd had the Mets number all year. I respect Kansas City, and I know they'd present a different type of challenge due to their approach at the plate which could lead to our starters running up some pitch counts. If they got the slight edge from the oddsmakers I'm sure it would be only because they'd have the home field in a game 7. But I'd welcome the chance to match our rotation, along with the rest of our team, up against theirs. When at Citi Field on Memorial Day to see my Phillies play the Mets,I told my friend,a Mets fan, that the best team in the game is playing in NYC today at Yankee Stadium-the Kansas City Royals.I see no reason yet to change my mind, although I could.

So the Yanks have a bigger bandwagon. There are lots of Notre Dame subway alumni in the NY/NJ area, too. I'll take the better baseball team, particularly the stellar starting pitching.Little Mets hype in NJ though, it's not like when the Yanks where everyone is wearing Yankees gear
Not this October. Only Yankee gear I've seen lately:Little Mets hype in NJ though, it's not like when the Yanks where everyone is wearing Yankees gear
Why don't you go find Kbee and T2whatever and join in a circle. Really, why are you here other than to be a jerk about the Mets success?Cubs in 7
